About this case
Severe jawbone loss has traditionally meant extensive — and lengthy — bone grafting before implants are even possible. A subperiosteal implant takes a different route: a custom titanium framework, designed in 3D to the patient’s exact bone anatomy, that rests on the bone rather than inside it. For the right patient it restores fixed teeth without major grafting — turning a case once considered too difficult into a predictable, fully digital solution.
